Q: How old do you have to be to volunteer at Starbrite?

A: The minimum age to volunteer at Starbrite is 14 years old without a parent/guardian present. Minor children wishing to volunteer with a parent/guardian will be evaluated and approved on a case-by-case basis.

Q: What is the time commitment?

A: We are grateful for any time you are willing to serve! We do ask that you commit to 1-3 hours weekly to ensure continuity for our riders, however this is not mandatory. If you would like to serve once a month or once a year, you can do that!

Q: What do I wear to volunteer?

A: All volunteers are required to wear close toed shoes and full length pants. In the summer you may wear sleeveless shirts but please no tank tops.

Q: What if I can't make my scheduled volunteer shift?

A: If you are unable to make your scheduled volunteer shift we ask that you notify us and submit a sub request at least 24 hours in advance if possible.
