The organization known today as Starbrite is a continuation of a therapeutic riding program begun over 20 years ago in Tyler. When the long-time leader of that organization decided to retire, a group of her volunteers committed to keep the programs going for the special riders that had been benefiting from therapeutic riding.

In 2020, the organization was re-branded as Starbrite and moved to a beautiful 33 acre tract of land near Lake Tyler. A committed board and staff came together with the common purpose of providing hope and healing to a diverse group of special riders and their families.

The vision of the Starbrite organization is to provide the East Texas community with a state-of-the-art equine therapy program and to show the love of Christ to everyone that the organization touches.
